I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the basics of math quizes 10th graders\. I find solving problems really tough . I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online resource that can assist me with this subject?

I checked out a number of software programs before I decided on Algebrator. This was the most suited for trigonometry, roots and like denominators. It was simple to key in the problem. Instead of just giving the answer , it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the solution. By the time, I arrived at the answer I learnt how to go about it on my own . I used the program for deciphering my problems in Pre Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra in algebra . Do you think that you will like to try this out?

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with adding fractions, proportions and conversion of units. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
