Hi there I have almost taken the decision to hire a math private teacher, because I've been having a lot of problems with math homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I waste hours and hours with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not completely sure whether a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's so expensive , and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about quadratic formula for dummies that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about conversion of units,inequalities or dividing fractions? Any ideas will be much appreciated .

Your story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in math for many years, when I began College Algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed so complicated . I remember I got a very low grade when I took the exam on quadratic formula for dummies. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even rational inequalities and system of equations. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a student . I have been using it since then whenever I had to solve something complicated.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - College Algebra, Algebra 1 and College Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with solving a triangle, radical equations and roots. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
